About Gennadiy Kapkanov
Gennadiy Kapkanov was born in Ukraine and at a young age moved to Philadelphia with his family. Growing up in the Philadelphia area developed his love and respect for the city and all that it has to offer, from food and art to sports and culture. Gennadiy’s passion for Philly led him to pursue a career where he could be actively involved with the city’s growth and development.
As a graduate from Drexel University’s Lebow School of Business, BS, Economics, Gennadiy has spent his educational and professional career in the Philadelphia area. During his time at Drexel, he gained work experience with firms such as Susquehanna International Group, PNC Financial Group, and Goldman Sachs & Co.. His experience at those firms spanned from equity and financial research to private wealth client services. Additionally, Gennadiy was a member of the Drexel Dragon Fund, a $2.3M equity portfolio, working as a Materials and Real Estate Sector Analyst. Gennadiy and his team successfully identified a real estate investment trust to be added to the fund, which ultimately gained more than 20% in value over a 5-month investment period. This experience fueled Gennadiy’s interest in the real estate field. Combining a strong background in finance with Gennadiy’s diligent work ethic, he has the necessary skill set to compete in commercial real estate industry.
Gennadiy is an active athlete and avid soccer player. He is currently a member of Vidas United, a men’s soccer team in the Philadelphia area. In his spare time, Gennadiy also enjoys travel and spent three months studying abroad in London’s Imperial College in London, England. Gennadiy is licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Pennsylvania.
