We recently had the pleasure of representing dermatologist Dr. Mark Abdelmalek in securing his flagship location for Dermatology of Philadelphia I Mohs Surgery Center.
Dr. Mark is not only a highly regarded dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon but also an awarded medical and investigative reporter. His mission is to bring academic excellence, compassion and conversation to the greater Philadelphia area.
Our goal was to identify a space that had a ground floor retail presence providing visibility, easy access for his patients, and a suitable location for his retail skincare component. We landed on a bright 3,000sf retail space at Franklin Tower at 200 N. 16th Street. This space is on the ground floor of a brand-new first-class apartment building within close proximity of Center City Philadelphia. It also includes tons of frontage along N. 16th Street, presenting a fantastic signage opportunity and visibility.
Dr. Mark executed a very detailed architectural plan to meet his specific function and design. The end result is a first-class medical office space that feels more like a med spa than a doctors office.
